Direct Linking

•No redirect links
•Added branding for YourSite.com
•Increased visitor confidence in the link

In Direct Linking, you have affiliate links pointing at your domain, which counts toward this search engine popularity. There are still tracking parameters present in the link, which many believe still prevents you from receiving full credit for the incoming link.
In a DirectLink model, traffic flows uninterrupted from a partner's website to your domain, by clicking a link to yoursite.com with tracking information appended at the end. Once the visitor arrives, a special, invisible code captures the tracking information and forwards it to the Performance backend, while the visitor remains at your site the entire time.
For Example: Lets use the HomeWind affiliate program as our linking example: Both hyperlinks below accomplish the same thing. Which one would you click on?
Traditional affiliate link would look like: http://net.performance-based.com/n/LW2Qvq1BAAGdv2MyMDkAVQAABfVCAAAqDQ-A/
Its a long string of seemingly random characters that make the potential customer weary as they have no idea where the link will send them
A Direct Linking example looks like this: http://www.homewind.net/?roia=!LW2Qvq1BAAGdv2MyMDkAVQAABfVCAAAqDQ-A
The Direct Linking advantage is huge! You can earn qualified inbound links and the look of the link gives the potential shopper a higher sense of confidence to click because the can see where they are going to be sent to as opposed to the traditional link which looks like gibberish.
